Hi. It’s me, Val.
And I really mean that.

This isn’t just another website or another show. This is my place. A place I’ve dreamed about for a long time. A place where I get to show up fully, honestly, and often - and where you’re invited to do the same.

At its heart, Valerie’s Place is about sharing stories. Mine, yes - the food, the memories, the moments behind the camera, the recipes I’ve cooked a hundred times, and the ones I’m still figuring out. But it’s also about your story. The meals you’re making. The recipes you’re saving. The memories you’re creating in your own kitchens. The conversations we get to have together.

Food has always been the way I connect, not just to family and friends, but to myself. It’s where the real talks happen. It’s where life slows down just enough to feel meaningful. And that’s the feeling I want this Place to give you.

Here, you’ll find every episode of Valerie’s Home Cooking, not just as something to watch, but as something to use. You can search by recipe, save your favorites to your own recipe box, and cook along with me whenever you want. You’ll also find brand-new shows, some familiar, some completely new, where I get to experiment, revisit old favorites, try new ideas, and even pull back the curtain on how these shows are made.

And then there’s the part I’m most excited about: being together in real time and cooking live with you, talking about books we love and laughing, learning, messing things up, and figuring it out side by side. Valerie’s Place isn’t meant to be a one-way conversation. It’s meant to feel like a kitchen full of people who care about each other.

This is also the first time I truly get to build something on my own terms; a place I can grow, change, and add to whenever inspiration strikes. No waiting. No filters. No algorithms. Just creativity, curiosity, and connection.
